Elevate your chaga tea with aromatic Indian herbs and spices. This light, sweet beverage is best enjoyed on a cold winter day.

1 cup water + 1/2 teaspoon Instant Chaga
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
2 white peppercorns
1/8 teaspoon fennel seeds
1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
2 and 1/2 teaspoons loose leaf black tea
1 and 3/4 brown sugar
1 cup whole milk

1.  Steep the black tea leaves and Instant Chaga in hot water for 1 minute. Strain the tea and set aside.
2. Combine the cardamom powder, cinnamon powder, peppercorns, and fennel seeds in a mortar and grind them together.
3. Put the milk in a saucepan and bring it to a simmer. Stir in the ground spice mix, brown sugar, and ginger powder. Reduce the heat and let the spiced milk simmer gently as you stir occasionally for 3 minutes.
4. Pour the tea into the milk and let your chaga masala chai simmer for 1 more minute.
